The Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be launched in July this year. Lei Jun, Xiaomi Chief has announced the upcoming launch timeline for the Xiaomi 12 Ultra in the country. There is no exact confirmation of the date when the top-end Xiaomi 12 series phone will be breaking covers officially. The post shared by Jun confirms the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor under the Xiaomi 12 Ultra’s hood.
If we believe the online reports, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be announced on July 5, 2022. That’s when Asus is also set to launch its flagship ROG Phone 6 series which is also tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Seems like Xiaomi is bringing in the ROG Phone 6’s strongest contender to the market.
Xiaomi 12 Ultra Leaked Features And Specifications
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra has been leaked on multiple occasions where an LTPO display is said to be mounted up front with a QHD+ screen resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The screen size tipped for the Xiaomi 12 Ultra is 6.6-inches. The camera setup leaked for the upcoming Xiaomi Ultra model is also top-notch.
A 48MP main ultrawide angle sensor along with another 48MP lens is said to handle the optics. The back panel is also rumored to feature a time-of-flight camera sensor. We might see a 32MP front camera in the Xiaomi 12 Ultra which will be packed inside the punch-hole camera cutout.
The flagship Xiaomi phone will be launched with Android 12 OS and have an MIUI interface. It will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometrics. The rumor mill has tipped a 5,000 mAh battery unit which will come with 67W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
