Xiaomi and Realme are two of such Chinese smartphone OEMs that have joined the laptop industry after dominating the smartphone space for a long.

Xiaomi’s Mi Notebook series was recently refreshed with second-generation models namely the Mi Notebook Pro and the Mi Notebook Ultra. Out of the two Chinese laptops, the Realme Book Slim offers a compact form factor. It is packed with a 14-inch display with a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and a 2K screen resolution of 1440 x 2160 resolution. The Realme Book slim’s display supports a 60Hz refresh rate. The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro has a bigger display that measures 15.60-inches. In addition to a larger panel, the screen resolution is also lower at 1080 x 1920 pixels on the Mi Notebook Pro. The Realme Book slim takes the lead here by offering a better display.

The Xiaomi Notebook Pro is powered by the Intel Core i5 processor with a 300Ghz base clock speed. The Realme Book Slim is also available with a Core i5 processor. However, the Mi Notebook Pro comes with a 10th Gen i5 chipset, while the Realme Book slim has an 11th Gen processor. The RAM offered by both laptops is 8GB, while the onboard storage capacity is up to 256GB for the Realme laptop and 512GB for the Xiaomi notebook. Performance delivery by both laptops would be high-end.

You can expect a lag-free user experience even with graphic-intensive tasks. Notably, only the Xiaomi Notebook Pro comes with an additional 2GB Nvidia GeForce MX3502 graphic card. Both Realme Book Slim and the Xiaomi Notebook Pro are pre-installed with Windows 10 OS.
