On June 13, the new Xiaomi Pad 6 Android tablet will be launched in India. It will have several upgrades over its predecessor, most notably including the powerful Snapdragon 870 CPU. Xiaomi has lowered the cost of the Pad 5 in India in advance of the tablet’s arrival.
The 128GB and 256GB models of the Xiaomi Pad 5 are each priced at Rs 26,999 and Rs 28,999, respectively. The price of the 256GB version has dropped by Rs 500, while the 128GB version has been slashed by Rs 1000. Following the price change, customers can now buy the 128GB model for Rs 25,999 and the 256GB version for Rs 28,499, respectively.
The tablet is available in the color Cosmic Grey. In addition, Xiaomi is giving customers who pay with an ICICI bank credit card an immediate discount of Rs 2,000.

The 10.95-inch LCD screen on the Xiaomi Pad 5 has a WQHD+ resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a crisp 275 PPI. For smooth graphics, it has a high refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The tablet supports stylus input through the Xiaomi Smart Pen, and both the DCI-P3 color gamut and the Dolby Vision HDR standard are supported by its 10-bit panel. With a peak brightness of 650 nits and a 16:10 aspect ratio, the display offers an immersive viewing experience.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 SoC, which powers the tablet’s internal components, ensures slick performance. It has UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR4x RAM, which offer enough of memory and quick data access. The system is powered by MIUI 13, which is based on Android 11, and offers a user-friendly interface called MIUI for Pad.
The large 8,720mAh battery within the Xiaomi Pad 5 supports fast charging at 33W (a 22.5W charger is supplied in the box), providing speedy and practical charging.
The tablet’s 13MP back camera and 8MP front-facing camera, together with other camera features, let users record special moments. A quad-speaker system that supports Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio, and Hi-Res Audio Wireless is also included on the tablet to provide an immersive audio experience.
The tablet has a USB 2.0 Type-C port, dual-band WiFi, and Bluetooth 5.0. The official keyboard accessory’s pogo pin connector is also included, giving customers more productivity alternatives.
