Xiaomi is gearing up to add another new model to its premium Pad 6 lineup. The Xiaomi pad 6 Max is set to join the existing vanilla Xiaomi Pad 6 and the Pad 6 Pro models soon. Xiaomi has confirmed the upcoming tablet’s launch which happens to be next week. The Chinese OEM has also unveiled the features of the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max tablet including the display, battery, and more.

As mentioned above, Xiaomi has officially teased the features of the third Pad 6 series tablet. Starting with the screen, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max will have a larger display panel compared to the Xiaomi pad 6 Pro. With this model, Xiaomi is taking a step ahead in the tablet market and bringing in a 14-inch model for the first time. Just for reference, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro variant features an 11-inch LCD panel which is approximately 60 percent smaller compared to the Pad 6 Max.
The official teaser doesn’t has only revealed the display size. But going by the leaks, we assume it could offer a 144Hz refresh rate and a screen resolution of over 2K. It seems that the display panel on the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max tablet is one of the primary upgrades when compared to the existing models in the Pad 6 series.
The second feature confirmed by Xiaomi for the Pad 6 Max tablet model is the chipset. This variant too will be equipped with the octa-core MediaTek Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset under the hood. The teaser doesn’t confirm the RAM and storage configuration but we could see up to 12GB RAM and 256Gb storage models. Nevertheless, the firmware version would be identical as the other models, i.e., Android 13 OS-based MIUI skin.
Next up is the audio system, which as per Xiaomi will be an eight-speaker module for premium audio delivery. The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max tablet will be packed with a 10,000 mAh battery pack which will get 67W fast charging support as the remaining models. Furthermore, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max is also said to double up as PC with features such as WPS Office and quad-window split-screen feature. We are yet to get details on the camera and other features which Xiaomi could reveal ahead of the launch.

Xiaomi Pad 6 Max Official Launch Timeline
Xiaomi will be launching the Pad 6 Max tablet variant on August 14. As of now, the arrival is said to be limited to the Chinese market. The global launch details for the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max tablet are yet to be revealed by the company. It is difficult to assume the exact timeline for its India launch as well.
