Xiaomi has finally taken the wraps off its latest-generation premium Android lineup called the Xiaomi Pad 6. The vanilla Xiaomi Pad 6 has been introduced alongside the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro in China. The successor to the popular Xiaomi Pad 5 series has been in rumors since the last year and has finally got official with some high-end features such as a metal body design, 144Hz LCD display, and more. The vanilla Xiaomi Pad 6 has been launched with a 11-inch LCD screen which comes with 1800 x 2880 pixels resolution. The Pad 6’s screen further supports a 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, 10 bit color depth, and HDR 10 certification. With all these premium specs, the Xiaomi Pad 6’s display becomes suitable for high-res video playback and also gaming.
Under the hood, Xiaomi has integrated the Pad 6 with the Snapdragon 870 octa-core chipset. It is worth noting that its successor, i.e., the Xiaomi Pad 5 runs on the Snapdragon 860 processor. This variant has been announced with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage configuration.
In the optics department, the Pad 6 features a single 13MP rear snapper and an 8MP front selfie camera. Not much is changed in the camera hardware compared to the Xiaomi Pad 5. Lastly, the battery capacity powering the Xiaomi Pad 6 is a 8,840 mAh unit combined with 33W fast charging support.

The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro tablet has a identical display hardware as the standard Xiaomi Pad 6. This variant also gets a 11-inch LCD panel with 144Hz refresh rate and 1800 x 2800 pixels resolution. The screen here has the same Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and 10 bit color depth.
The chipset packed inside the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro is more powerful compared to the standard version. This variant draws its power from the octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The RAM and storage option available with this model includes 8GB/ 12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB.
The optics is also advanced with the Pad 6 Pro tablet. It features a dual lens rear camera setup which includes a 50MP main lens clubbed with a 2MP secondary sensor for depth mapping. The selfie lens is also larger here at 20MP. The same goes for the battery size. The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro has a bigger 8,600 mAh battery module which supports 67W fast charging technology.

Xiaomi Pad 6, Pad 6 Pro Price, Global, And India Availability
The Xiaomi Pad 6 base model that has 6GB RAM+ 128GB storage is announced at 1,999 Yuan (approx. Rs. 23,800), while the mid-variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 2,099 Yuan (approx. Rs. 25,000). The top-end Xiaomi Pad 6 model costs 2,299 Yuan (approx. Rs. 27,400).
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro’s low-end variant with 8GB RAM+ 128GB storage is priced at 2,499 Yuan (approx. Rs. 29,800), while the 8GB RAM+ 256GB storage model is priced at 2,799 Yuan (Rs. 33,400). There are two other variants with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage and 12GB RAM+ 512GB storage priced at 3,099 (approx. Rs. 36,900) and 3,399 Yuan (approx. Rs. 40,500) respectively.
While Xiaomi has launched the Pad 6 and the Pad 6 Pro tablet in China, it hasn’t shared the timeline for their availability in India and other global regions. We are expecting Xiaomi to update the details in the coming weeks or months depending on the planned roadmap for Pad 6 series global launch.
