Redmi Buds 4 Active earphones from Xiaomi have been released to the global market. This time, China is not the only country where the newest Redmi earphones are being released. Compared to the Redmi Buds 4, the Redmi Buds 4 Active offers a number of upgrades.
Redmi Buds 4 Active: Specifications
The 12mm drivers in the Buds 4 Active are an upgrade from the 10mm drivers in the previous iteration. The Buds 4 Active’s 12mm drivers are a big upgrade over the default mode, but there aren’t many options for active noise reduction. The Buds 4 Active only provides active noise cancellation and normal modes as opposed to the ordinary Buds 4 Active’s active noise cancellation, normal, and transparent modes for ambient sound. In contrast to the Buds 4, which has an IPX5 dust and water resistance rating, the Redmi Buds 4 Active has an IPX4 water resistance certification.
Compared to its predecessor, the Redmi Buds 4 Active has a new design. In comparison to the standard model, it sports larger earphones and a more contoured charging case. With its charging case, it provides up to 28 hours of use. On a single charge, the earbuds themselves provide up to 5 hours of listening.
The Redmi Buds 4 Active can also be charged quickly; after just 10 minutes, they can play music for up to 2 hours. Google Fast Pair and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity are supported by the earbuds. The earbuds have a number of touch controls, including double tapping, triple tapping, and press and hold. These touch controls can be used to play music, accept or decline phone calls, and enable low latency mode, among other things. Together with its charging case, the Redmi Buds 4 Active weighs 42g and contains a 440mAh battery.
