Xiaomi is going all guns blazing in the Indian market. The company is launching back-to-back new smartphones in India. Just a few weeks ago, the company launched the new Redmi Note 10 Series in the country. Currently, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Series comprises the Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. But soon, there will be one more member in the family. The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S will be launched in India very soon and now ahead of its official launch, its key specifications have been revealed on the internet.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S – Market Positioning
The new Xiaomi Redmi 10S will bridge the gap between the Redmi Note 10 and the Redmi Note 10 Pro. The upcoming new Redmi Note 10S will share most of its features with the Redmi Note 10 Pro but to keep the price more competitive and boost its sales, the company will install a new chipset in this mid-range smartphone. The processor of the new Redmi Note 10S will be different from both the Redmi Note 10 as well as its Pro version.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S – Key Specifications
Like most other Redmi Note series smartphones, the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S will be sold online via Amazon. The landing page of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S is now live on Amazon India’s official website and it reveals some key specifications of the smartphone. The new Redmi Note 10S will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 chipset (codenamed as the MediaTek MT6785) that made its India debut in September last year with the Realme 7.
The Helio G95 is a very capable chipset for mid-range smartphones. Some other features of the Redmi Note 10S will include a Super AMOLED display protected by Gorilla Glass and it gets an IP53 rating too. It will come with a quad-camera set-up at the rear and the primary sensor of the smartphone will be a 64MP unit. The new Redmi Note 10S smartphone will also get dual stereo speakers and a massive 5000mAh battery with a 33W fast charger bundled inside the box.

The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S will be launched in India on May 13, 2021. Its base variant is expected to get 6GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage and the price might start from Rs. 14,999.
