Xiaomi is now getting all the attention for its upcoming Redmi Note 11T 5G in India. The device will be arriving as the rebadged version of the Redmi Note 11 5G which was announced earlier this year in China. An exclusive report by 91Mobiles today confirmed its launch timeline which is scheduled for November 30 in the country. Now, a fresh leak has surfaced online courtesy MoneyControl and tipster Yogesh Brar have shared the pricing details of the Redmi Note 11T 5G in the Indian market. Is it worth the competition? Let’s find out:
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T 5G Expected India Pricing Leaked
According to the report, the Redmi Note 11T 5G will be available with the same configurations as the Chinese variant. The base model which will pack 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration is said to be tagged at Rs. 17,999. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 11T 5G with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration will be announced at Rs. 19,999.
The report further suggests the company will be introducing a 64GB variant as well. However, the pricing of this model hasn’t been confirmed just yet. The color options and design would be likely the same as the Chinese counterpart. The color options expected are Mint Green, Mysterious Black, and Galaxy Blue.
Does This Pricing Make Redmi Note 11T 5G Better Mid-Range Competitor?
Before we give a verdict on this, let’s give a quick look at the expected Redmi Note 11T hardware. As suggested by the recent exclusive report by 91Mobiles, the Redmi Note 11T Pro 5G is not entirely a new device rather a rebadged version of the vanilla Redmi Note 11 5G. The handset will use the Dimensity 810 octa-core processor clubbed with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration.
The Redmi Note 11T 5G will be flaunting a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1080p FHD+ resolution. The panel will feature a punch-hole cutout housing a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Additionally, the display will offer a 90Hz refresh rate for better frame transitions with high-end gaming.
The Redmi Note 11T 5G’s imaging setup would also be identical to the standard Redmi Note 11 5G. There will be dual cameras at the back where the primary sensor would be a 50MP lens with an f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP sensor for ultra-wide-angle frames. The battery expected to power the Redmi Note 11T 5G is a 5,000 mAh unit accompanied by 33W quick charging technology.
Now, whether or not this handset makes it a good competition; let’s break it down. If we compare the pricing, then the Redmi Note 11T 5G’s primary competition includes the Realme 8S 5G and the Lava Agni 5G. Both these handsets have been launched recently in the Indian market and are driven by the Dimensity 810 5G SoC.
The features packed in all three handsets are somewhat similar. Some differences here and there. The Redmi Note 11T 5G is a good handset on paper and is competitive in the mid-range segment. But, it would have got larger popularity with a lower price tag.
