Under the hood, both Redmi Pad and the OPPO Pad Air use a powerful mid-range mobile processor. The Redmi Pad runs on the MediaTek MT8781 processor which is otherwise known as the Helio G99 SoC.
This is an octa-core processor by MediaTek designed specifically to handle extensive gaming requirements at a budget price point. The Redmi Pad tablet’s chipset is coupled with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU for graphics and 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM options for multitasking. Storage options that you can select from include 64GB and 128GB.
Whereas, the OPPO Pad Air uses the octa-core Snapdragon 680 chipset for power delivery that is clubbed with Adreno 610 GPU to handle all the graphics requirements. OPPO has launched the Pad Air tablet with 4GB RAM/64GB storage, 4GB RAM/128GB storage, and 6GB RAM/128GB storage configuration.
