Ola’s Response?
It couldn’t be figured out with the post as to which Ola e-scooter model specifically has been associated with the fire accident this time. Also, the exact reason why the e-scooter suddenly went ablaze is unknown. Thankfully, no major injuries were sustained during this accident. Nevertheless, considering its an Ola-labelled e-scooter raises more concern related to customer safety.
Ola is already in trouble with frequent customer complaints and the recent show-cause notice issued by the CCPA. Ola is asked to acknowledge and share a reply on the same within 15 days. Ola in a bid to improve its post sale service and repair experience recently launched HyperService plans. But seems like it needs better plans to resolve the ongoing issues.
