The Asus ROG Phone 5 Pro has a height of 172.8mm and a width of 77.3mm and a fairly thick design measuring just 10.3mm and weighing 238 g. The smartphone is available in one color, i.e.,Glossy Black. The Asus ROG Phone 5 Pro gives a  clear visual experience with its large 6.78-inch  AMOLED panel that operates on a resolution of 2448 x 1080 pixels and has a whopping 144Hz refresh rate. It has a pixel density of 395 PPI and has a peak brightness of 1200 nits. The panel has a screen-to-body ratio of 82.0%.Apart from that, it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The panel quality is premium and aids with high-quality video playback and gaming visuals.

The Asus ROG Phone 5 Pro runs on the Qualcomm SM8350 chipset . This processor is marketed as the Snapdragon 888 5G chipset which is a flagship-grade SoC from Qualcomm clubbed  with Adreno 660. The smartphone is available with up to 16GB RAM with 512GB internal storage.In terms of connectivity and navigational support, the Asus ROG Phone 5 Pro offers support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, Radio, AAC, LDAC and NFC. The Asus ROG Phone 5 Pro features  stereo speakers for audio delivery. With regards to the sensors, the smartphone features a proximity sensor, compass, gyro, accelerometer, and fingerprint sensor under the display. The Asus ROG Phone 5 Pro operates on ROG UI, which is based on Android 11 and is upgradable to Android 12.

The Asus ROG Phone 5 Pro has a powerful set of triple cameras which includes a 64MP (f/1.8) wide-angle, a secondary camera of 13MP (f/2.4) with a 125° ultra-wide camera and 5MP(f/2.0) macro camera . This setup is potent enough to capture shots with high  clarity levels.The Asus ROG Phone 5 Pro has multiple photographic features, which include dedicated 64MP mode, night mode, portrait mode and panorama. Apart from that, the ROG Phone 5 Pro also offers support for cinematic-like videos, which records video at 1080p and 720p at 30fps respectively with features such as Auto Video, Pro video, Slow motion, Time-lapse and Motion tracking.

The Asus ROG Phone 5 Pro offers a massive battery of 6000mAh, which is accompanied by 65W fast charging. It can be charged 70% in 30 mins and 100% in 52 min (as advertised). Once fully charged, it can last a little over a day with moderate usage.
