The Nokia XR 20 is powered by a Qualcomm SM4350 Snapdragon 480 5G (8nm) processor. The CPU of the mobile is Octa-core (2x2.0 GHz Kryo 460 and 6x1.8 GHz Kryo 460) which is paired with the GPU i.e., Adreno 619. The Nokia XR 2O has an operating system of Android 11. The performance specifications are not at the lower end but, they are not power-packed either. Hence, many apps open in the back at the same time can add tension to the operating system until the UI starts to delay changing of apps. The chipset cannot handle heavy graphical performance either. Even though the 5G network has not been released yet in India, 5G connectivity is available on the phone.

The Nokia XR20 comes with a display of a 6.67 inches IPS LCD screen. Taking into consideration the expensive price of the phone, it should have been paired with something like an AMOLED screen. Nonetheless, Nokia XR20 exhibits fine specs for its front display. The front panel has a pixel density of 395 PPI and a screen to body ratio of 20:9 aspect ratio. The pixel resolution of the phone is 2400 pixels. The user can adjust the brightness of the phone to a maximum of 550 nits. However, Nokia XR20 does not have an impressive refresh rate. The Nokia XR20 claims a battery life with Li-Po 4640 mAh battery type. The battery is non-removable. The Nokia XR20 is compatible with a quick charging system of 18W v4.0. There is also an option of fast wireless charging in 15W. Even though Nokia claims that it has a battery life of 2 days, if you test the Nokia XR20 it is found that the battery capacity of the phone is 18 hours and 3 minutes.

Nokia has equipped this new model with a dual-camera setup. There is a 48MP f/1.79 Wide Angle Primary Camera and a 13MP f/2.4 Ultra-wide Angle shooter. The primary camera of the Nokia XR20 on the front side has an 8MP f/2.0. You can capture great selfies using the front camera. The rear cameras have the ability to capture some great photographs with sharp details but only in good daylight settings. Low lighting scenarios may hinder the camera to give as good of output since it takes a while for the cameras to focus. However, if you use the Night mode in such cases, you can get better quality pictures. The dual flash may also help in this scenario as the light is sufficient without causing overexposure.

The most attractive feature of the Nokia XR20 is the durability of the phone and the strength of the body. The phone is completely dustproof and waterproof (IP68 waterproofing). Nokia has tried and tested the phone and it appears that the IP68 water and dust resistant phone can withstand up to 1.5 m for 60 minutes. The Nokia XR20 can also withstand extremely cold and hot climates. It also has a very impressive drop-to-concrete resistance from up to 1.8 m. The phone is MIL-STD-810H compliant. The dimensions of the body are 6.76 x 3.21 x 0.42 inches. It weighs 248 g. The Nokia XR20 come in two colours, i.e., Ultra Blue and Granite Grey.
