Realme C12

The device is available in five colors: power black, power blue, coral red, marine blue, and silver. The phone’s body is made of plastic and has a matte finish. The plastic is of good quality and does not scratch very easily. There are two diagonal lines at the back of the phone that look like a trapezium-styled pattern, and the design is called the Geometric Radiant Display by Realme.  

On the rear side of the phone are a fingerprint sensor and a triple camera. The camera is arranged in a square-shaped design. The phone is thick, and hence, you get a good grip.  On the right side, you can find the power and volume buttons. The dual-sim slot is present on the left side. There are three ports, headphone jack, speaker grille, and micro-USB port on the down below side. 

The device has a triple camera, and the primary camera is 13MP. The other two are 2MP B&W and 2MP Macro. The primary camera gives good quality shots in ample lighting. However, the details are not very sharp. The 4xzoom feature is very good, which produces decent zoomed-in shots. It has a chroma boost feature for better shots of nature.

The B&W camera is useful to take monochrome shots. The shots of B&W are mediocre. The Macro camera with a 4cm focal length is not as good as claimed by Realme. 

The image quality is good in bright conditions. It has a night mode, and low light shots are not very good but decent. The portrait has a background blur option which helps to deliver beautiful portrait shots. Selfie camera images are good, although the resolution is low. Realme C12 can shoot videos up to 1080p and 30fps. The video quality is good with no shakes. 

It features a 6000mAh battery. The device does not support the fast charging option and supports only 10W charging. Hence, it takes a longer time to charge. It takes about three hours for the phone to get charged to 100% from 0%. 

The battery life is impressive and lasts for a long duration. Realme claims that the battery offers 46 hours of talk time, 24 hours of Instagram usage, 10 hours of gaming, and 28 hours of Youtube viewing. The battery life may not be as long as the company claims but is pretty good. If you are not a heavy user, the battery may last for about 30 hours or more. The battery life can last for two days for light users. It supports reverse charging which makes the device a power bank too. 

Realme C12 has the Super Power Saving Mode that is capable of extending the life of the battery furthermore. This is a distinct feature of the phone, although all Realme C12 specs are impressive. The feature allows the user to choose six important apps. When the battery is dying down, this feature will block other apps and let only the six apps that you have chosen to use the remaining power. You can select essential apps like phone, contacts, messaging, and a few important apps like OLA to help you if you are stranded with a low battery. 

It has the Helio G35 processor like the C11 model, but the good news is that the processor of C12 is optimized, which makes the performance of C12 better than C11. Realme C12 has 3GB RAM, and so it does not lag much. The fingerprint sensor is very quick to respond. The call quality and the microphone quality are excellent. 

The storage capacity is 32 GB which seems low, but the storage can be expanded to 256GB using a microSD card. You can use multiple apps with no issues. However, the device struggles to load a few apps and a few system menus.

The phone is a little slow to respond to touch. This affects the gaming experience. To get a better gaming experience, you have to lower the graphic settings of the device.
