Vivo V15 comes with an excellent dual-tone design and camera features. The gradient finish, spectrum ripple design on the rear panel is covered by Gorilla Glass 5. Vivo V15 comes in four different colours: Royal blue, Frozen black, Aqua blue and Glamour red. The screen-to-body ratio is 90.95%. It feels relatively big at 189 grams with a 6.5-inch display. For some, it isn't delightful to hold it. The Vivo V15 body is covered by polycarbonate. Eventually, it will be prone to fingerprints and smudges. The best part of the V15 is the build quality of the phone is powerful. The protruding camera at the back is a disappointment because it's challenging to place on a flat surface.

The Vivo V15 screen is 6.53-inch long and provides a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. The Vivo V15 screen uses an LCD panel instead of an OLED. It would have been great if the V15 had included a super AMOLED panel like V15 pro. The viewing angles are better, but the video call quality could be brighter. 

And there is a Micro-USB port, 3.5mm headphone jack, a microphone, and the speaker are positioned at the bottom. It doesn't support the face recognition feature.

V15 screen offers a great screening experience to the users. The Vivo V15 came up with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor that is hand-worthy to unlock. There is no notch. A Smart Button is located on the left, used to activate Google Assistant, along with the power and volume buttons.

Currently, the Vivo V15 is the most affordable pop-up selfie camera phone available in the market. The V15 uses pixel technology to capture selfies in the 32MP mode and shows the picture with precise details. The Vivo V15 camera clicks good selfies in both daylight situations and low-light. 

The Vivo V15 includes three rear cameras: the primary camera is a 24 Million Photosensitive Units paired with an f/1.78 lens. The large pixel size with Dual Pixel Focusing technology results in clear images. An 8MP camera clicks pictures in wide-angle, and a 5MP sensor is for portrait mode. Vivo V15 offers built-in video editors, which is a rare feature and not seen in many smartphones.

V15 offers AI-based camera features like AI body shaping, super-wide camera. The camera UI comes with the scanning mode, pro mode, AI beauty, AR stickers, HDR flash. 

The octa-core powers the Vivo V15 MediaTek Helio P70 SoC measured at 2.1GHz, with four ARM Cortex-A73 cores and four power-efficient Cortex-A53 cores. The Vivo V15 comes with only one variant: 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage, expanding by up to 256GB storage via a microSD card.

Regarding the performance, the Vivo V15 features are fairly well. PUBG runs at medium graphics, and it often crashes. The other widely used games ran pretty well. There is an Esports Mode that lets users close background apps and block notifications while playing a game. P70 processor doesn’t experience too much heating.

The Vivo V15 runs on Funtouch OS 9, which is based on Android 9 Pie. The exciting thing is that FunTouch OS 9 doesn't fill with several third-party apps. The performance of the Vivo V15 is less than expected. The Funtouch Os offers a new feature, GameCube, which enhances the in-game experience.

Now, the current version is Android 11 based Funtouch OS 11. You will get an update notification to download and install the apps. The software experience is a bit confusing, especially when you are coming from an Android One device. The usual toggle buttons in the notifications tray are missing. They are placed in an iOS-style Control Centre along with the brightness scrubber and volume controls.

The battery performance is impressive, and it is the key highlight of the Vivo V15. It has a 4000mAh battery; the Vivo V15 battery life is pretty long around 28 hours. There is micro-USB support.
