The Xiaomi 12 has a height of 152.7mm and a width of 69.9mm. It is 8.2mm thick and weighs merely 179g. It has a strong body and is comfortable to hold. It is available in four colors namely gray, blue, purple, and green. The Xiaomi 12 has a massive screen of 6.28 inches, which has a brilliant resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen of the smartphone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

The Xiaomi 12 operates on the speedy Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (4 nm) processor, which ensures a lag-free experience. It features 12GB RAM and 128GB ROM. It is available in two other variants, 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM or 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM. The smartphone operates on MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12. The Xiaomi 12 also offers support for Wi-Fi,, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C, and NFC. In terms of sensors, it is equipped with a fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, compass, color spectrum, and virtual proximity Sensing It offers support for a wide range of multimedia and allows video recording in MP4 format. GPS, BDS, GLONASS, QZSS, NavIC, and Galileo offer the required navigation support. 

Xiaomi 12 is equipped with a 4500mAh massive battery which is provided with a 67W fast charging system. The fast charging system is so efficient that it can charge the handset up to 100 percent within 40 minutes. Additionally, there is 50W wireless powering, which is also quick as it provides cable-free powering that is as quick as its wired counterpart.

The Xiaomi 12 boasts three cameras on the back: a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.9 aperture, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP telephoto camera. To put things in perspective, it is the same as the Mi 11, but for the 50MP camera that has replaced the 108MP one on that device. The primary camera produces good-looking images with vivid colors, strong contrast, and loads of detail. This was true whether the images were of humans, up-close items, or larger landscapes.
