The Redmi X50 LED TV has a minimalistic and standard design. It hosts a 50-inch long display panel that has very thin bezels on all sides. The body is of black plastic and has the Redmi logo at the bottom border just above the indicator light. The power button is just behind that and you will need the remote to perform every task afterwards.

The plastic stands for mounting the TV on the table come included in the box and are very sturdy. You can also choose to wall mount the TV but you will have to purchase the wall mount separately.  It has three HDMI ports, two USB ports and the 3.5mm on the left while the antenna and the Ethernet port are on downwards.

The Redmi X50 has a 50 inches long Ultra HD display panel with 3840x2140 resolution which will provide you with a very impressive experience. It has a storage capacity of 16GB which you can use to store your media in it. The speakers are very loud and fine-tuned. You will be able to listen to everything from dialogues to songs clearly without any issue.

All the streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Hotstar are available and you can watch everything you desire very conveniently on a large screen. The playback quality is good and sharp up to 720p resolution but it declines a little bit when you switch to videos with higher resolutions as the sharpness decreases. The black levels see a difference and their texture turns slightly grey. But overall the playback quality is reasonably good.

Like the X50 TV itself, the remote also has a simple design with a fewer number of buttons. By clicking on the PatchWall button you can quickly go to the PatchWall interface and access anything you want. Also, you can long-press the same button even while playing content to access and adjust quick settings.

You can access Google Assistant through the remote which can be very useful for searching any content, controlling IoT products or accessing any information. By Google Chromecast and MiraCast, you will be able to select and control content with your smartphone. Another interesting feature of the remote is that you can mute the TV instantly by double-pressing the volume down button.

Like the Mi QLED TV 4K, the Redmi X50 TV also runs on the Android 10 operating system. You have the option of using both stock Android launcher or PatchWall user interface at your ease. It is easy to switch between both launchers just by pressing a button on the remote. Both the user interfaces are easy to use. The Android launcher displays everything as per the app first approach and PatchWall UI displays the things in various categories. It also provides lists of Dolby Vision and HDR10 content which will be very helpful for you to choose the best-looking content to watch. You can install the Mi Home app through the PatchWall launcher which will be very helpful to control all the Mi devices at your house like smart lights and air purifiers.
