The Redmi 10 Prime boasts of better hardware than the Redmi 9 except for its front camera. The Redmi 10 Prime is among very few smartphones that are powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC. Low-light camera performance in the previous models were strictly average. Shots appeared to be dark, and details were missing. It features USB Type-C, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, and Bluetooth 5.1 in the mode. The screen tends to have 16 million different colour shades on screen. The phone’s pixel density is 405 ppi (pixel per inch).  The display comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which ensures to prevent accidental scratches and is also dust and splash-proof.

Redmi 10 Prime flaunts 18W Fast Charging and Up to 9W Reverse Charging making it a total powerpack smartphone. The battery can stay active for about one and a half day.

The Redmi 10 Prime has an inbuilt quad-camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It is pretty much unchanged from the previous models. There are facilities for HDR as well as AI, and the Pro mode is determined to give complete control over settings. The ultra-wide-angle camera enables to shoot a wider frame but usually steps down the quality by stretching it down.

The product has sense of similarity with the Redmi 10 model. It is stuck with the ‘Evol' design language that debuted with the Redmi Note 10 series. The model is available in 3 different colour themes: the Beautiful Bifrost Blue, the Phenomenal Phantom Black and the Appealing Astral White. The selfie camera hole is right in the centre towards the top of the display. The frame is made from plastic and is rounded for easy grip. The left side of phone has the SIM tray. The top consists of 3.5mm headphone jack, IR emitter, and speaker holes. It has side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button on the right side of the phone.
