2025 Kia EV6 Facelift Goes Official: Features New Design, Bigger Battery, Better Range

Kia Motors have finally introduced the facelift version of the EV6. The luxury electric SUV has received a fresh design upgrade where it looks more premium. Besides the updated design, the new EV6 facelift also gets an improved powertrain featuring a bigger battery and a better range delivery than the outgoing EV6 model.

2025 Kia EV6 Facelift Model: Design Highlights

The all-new MY25 Kia EV6 facelift model’s primary design highlights includes the re-designed exteriors, specifically the facia. The EV6 facelift model now sports the angular ‘Star Map’ headlamp design with adaptive brightness. The rear profile also gets a newly designed full-width connected LED tail-light setup which distinguishes it from the previous-gen model.

The bumper design on the Kia EV6 facelift is also tweaked adding on to the premium looks and feel. The My25 Kia EV6 facelift comes with 19 and 20-inch alloy wheels. As for the interiors, there aren’t any major tweaks made here. The dual 12.3-inch infotainment screen gets slight repositioning, but the primary design elements remains unchanged on the dashboard. The steering column is also electronically adjusted for an improved handling feedback.

Rest of the cabin features includes ventilated and heated seats with new touch controls, an AR (augmented reality) satellite navigation view, and a fingerprint scanner-enabled ignition system.

The new 2025 Kia EV6 facelift is introduced with dual drivetrain options. There is a Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) single motor variant which delivers up to 168 kW peak power and up to 350 Nm of peak torque. The EV6 facelift is also introduced with a All-wheel-drive (AWD) option where the dual motor setup churns out up to 239 kW of peak power and up to 605 Nm of peak torque.

The bigger battery pack is another highlight of the Kia EV6 Facelift model. Instead of the 77.4 kWh battery pack, the facelift model employs a bigger 84 kWh battery pack which also will deliver a higher driving range compared to the outgoing model. This new variant is said to offer up to 494 km range on a full battery charge as per WLTP cycle. Speaking of the charging time, it will take up to 18 minutes for the battery to get a refuel of 10- 80 percent.
