To accomplish this musical rebirth, The Beatles tapped into old recordings of John Lennon, piecing together his contribution to “Now and Then.” In the 1990s, the band attempted a similar endeavor with Lennon’s demos, resulting in the creation of “Free as a Bird” and “Real Love.” However, technical limitations at the time hindered their efforts.
