Launch Timeline
Earlier reports from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggested that production of the second-generation AirTag had been delayed from late 2024 to 2025. However, both Kuo and Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman now confirm a mid-2025 release. The device is currently undergoing manufacturing tests.
