Ola Electric seems to have landed in soup once again. This time a Bengaluru resident shared a post on the microblogging website X tagging Ola and warning citizens from adhering to purchase an Ola e-scooter. The e-scooter owner, Nisha C Shekhar, apparently got fed up with the multiple breakdowns she had to experience post the purchase. That’s not it, the customer has also been unhappy with the response of the service center and no resolution being provided for the issue.

As per the post, the customer received the e-scooter after a system update from the service center. However, the issue didn’t get resolved and she had to drag and pull the e-scooter for a km at night. The post shared on X shows the placard on the Ola e-scooter stating, “Dear Kannadigas, Ola is a useless two-wheeler. If you buy one, it will only make your life hard. Please do not buy an Ola Electric scooter.”

Response From Ola On The Matter?

Ola is unresponsive on this matter as of now and is yet to acknowledge this incident. However, the customer has gone ahead and filed a complaint with the District Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission. It would be interesting to see how Ola addresses this new issue and what resolution it will offer finally to the troubled customer.
