BYD, the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer is back in India with its fourth model, the eMax 7. The latest offering comes as a successor to the e6 and is an electric MPV loaded with advanced features and powertrain. The BYD eMax 7 e-MPV is already up for pre-bookings on the country and carries a price tag of Rs. 25 lakh.

BYD eMax 7 Design Highlights
BYD eMax is an MPV featuring an all electric drivetrain under its hood. It comes with both six and seven seater capacity that can be configured as per the preferences. The fascia is re-worked featuring sleek LED headlamps, angular air ducts, and a blanked-off grille. It’s overall profile is revised compared to the e6 which is now more aerodynamically-suited for an overall enhanced driving experience.
Cabin features have also been refreshed than the previous-gen model. The eMax 7 is equipped with a big 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system, 5-inch driver display, three-spoke steering wheel with mounted controls, a refreshed centre console with a new gear mode selector, panoramic sunroof, and more.

BYD eMax 7 electric MPV is launched with a 55.4 and a 71.8 kWh battery pack options. The base variant of the eMax 7 produces a peak power and torque range of 163 PS and 310 Nm respectively.
Whereas, the larger battery pack model produces a higher power capacity of 204 PS but offers the same 310 Nm torque. The new electric MPV will be handling range anxiety with up to 530 km per charge range delivery figures.
