BYD India has recently confirmed its new electric four wheeler for India and had also shared its teaser online. The eMax 7 is the upcoming BYD EV in India which will be an electric MPV and a successor to the e6 MPV. Ahead of the launch, the details of the eMax 7 electric MPV have started surfacing online. The seating capacity of the new e-MPV have surfaced this time. Details are below:

BYD eMax 7 Electric MPV Seating Capacity, Expected Features

BYD eMax 7 will be launched with a three row seating. This will be an updated design aspect when compared to its predecessor, i.e., the e6 MPV. Notably, its predecessor offered only two row of seats with 5 seater capacity. With the added row, the eMax 7 will be available with both six and seven seater capacity option.

It is being said that despite the cargo room getting reduced, the updated seat layout will look more premium and will comprise leatherette upholstery. Some of the cabin features of the BYD eMax 7 have also been leaked online.

It is said to be equipped with a large panoramic sunroof and the cabin will be featuring a reworked centre console comprising faux wood and aluminum touch. The cabin of the eMax 7 is also said to feature a 12.8-inch infotainment screen and a digital driver display. It is also expected to come with ADAS safety suite.

BYD eMax 7 Expected Powertrain

The BYD eMax 7 will be the rebadged version of the M6 MPV which is sold with dual battery pack option internationally. The 55.4 kWh variant offers up to 420 km range per charge, while the 71.8 kWh model has a 530km range delivery. It is anticipated that the eMax will be launched with the 71.8 kWh battery pack option.
