Asus ROG Flow Z13: Features That Makes It Most Premium Gaming Tablet
In its official CES 2022 keynote, Asus unveiled its high-end gaming tablet named ROG Flow Z3. It’s more of a thin gaming laptop with a detachable design that makes it a tablet. If we speak of the hardware, it definitely is one of the most well-equipped tablets for gaming announced till date. The ROG Flow Z3 gaming tablet runs on the Intel Core i9-12900H chipset.
The processor here is accompanied by Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti GPU to render high-end graphics. Besides, the tablet also has external GPU support which is new for any tablet in the market. This will allow for further customizations as per a suer’s requirement. The extra set of features includes an in-house Asus XG Mobile eGPU Kit. With this, the tablet will additionally support Radeon RX 6850M XT or RTX 3080 GPU.
Speaking of the other key hardware, the Asus ROG Flow Z13 is packed with an IPS LCD display that is 13.4-inches in size. This is slightly bigger compared to conventional Android or Apple tablets. While selecting the panel, you get two options. Either you can opt for an FHD+ variant that supports 1080 pixels screen resolution and 120Hz refresh rate or you can go for the 4K resolution model. However, the latter offers a standard 60Hz refresh rate.
The Asus ROG Flow Z13 gaming tablet (both display models) offers a detachable keyboard with an RGB backlight. The tablet will be available with DDR5 RAM and PCIe 4.0 storage. However, the exact capacity is not announced by the company yet. As for the connectivity ports, the ROG Flow Z13 has one USB-A 2.0 port, two USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports, one HDMI 2.0 port, one eGPU port, one Thunderbolt 4 port, one microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
