In a significant achievement, the ISRO confirmed the Lunar Orbit Injection completion at approximately 7 pm IST on Saturday. This manoeuvre expertly positioned the spacecraft into a stable orbit around the Moon. Chandrayaan-3’s Milestones

Launched aboard the LVM-3 rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre on July 14, 2023, Chandrayaan-3 has traversed a distance of over three lakh kilometers in space between Earth and the Moon. Its orbits around Earth concluded on August 1, setting the stage for its interplanetary voyage toward the Moon’s vicinity.
