ChatGPT has been in the headlines for a while which now has got Google as its prime competitor. The search giant is ready to challenge OpenAI’s ChatGPT AI writing tool with its self-developed app called Bard. Google Bard can be tagged as one of the most ambitious AI projects whose confirmation now comes directly from the company’s CEO, Sunder Pichai. But what exactly is Google Bard and how different is it from ChatGPT? Below is all the information:

Google Bard: What Is It?

Google Bard is being launched as an OpenAI ChatGPT rival. The latter has gained massive popularity within just a few months of its official launch. For reference, OpenAI is a Microsoft-backed research startup and the developer of ChatGPT AI-based chatbot/ writing tool. Likewise, Google Bard is a powerful conversational AI service that will allow users to get AI-generated informative responses to different queries.

How Is Google Bard Different From ChatGPT?

While both Google Bard and ChaTGPT are AI-based conversation tools, they both are different in terms of programming and language. Also, ChatGPT comes with certain limitations which isn’t the case with Google Bard. Google is using LaMDA (Language Model for Dialogue Applications) to power the Bard AI chatbot.

Google Bard is capable of answering responses sourced from the wide web directory. However, OpenAI ChatGPT can only provide information or any relevant data from 2021 onwards. With the more powerful LaMDA Language API, Google Bard is expected to offer a better user experience compared to ChatGPT.

How To Use Google Bard Conversational AI Tool

Unfortunately, Google has only confirmed the developments surrounding the Bard language AI chatbot and has made it available to a close group of testers. It is unlikely to available for the general public before the year end.

However, Sunder Pichai has revealed that the company plans to release the lightweight version of Brad AI tool. This will allow the users to get experience Google’s self-developed chatbot’s capabilities and highlight any shortcomings that could be addressed with the stable version. Nevertheless, Google is already aiming to create its own suite of AI-backed tools and APIs going forward which will benefit the general audience with productivity.
