All smartphone makers have launched or planning to bring tablets to the Indian market. Similarly, Honor is likely to bring tablets to the country, which also means that the company might re-enter the market soon. In fact, the e-commerce platform Honor Pad has started teasing the launch of the Honor Pad 8.
The Honor Pad is already available in China and other markets. Now, it is anticipated that the Indian variant will have the same specifications. The tablet also comes with a 2K resolution, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC 7,250mAh battery, and a 12-inch LCD display.
In a new report by FoneArena, Honor has also started teasing the arrival of the tablet that will be available on Flipkart. In addition, the report suggests that the upcoming version of the tablet in India will have the same specifications as its global version. However, the storage and pricing of the tablets have not been shared.
Honor Pad 8 Tablet: Launch In India Soon
The Honor Pad 8 comes with an 87 percent screen-to-body ratio, a 12-inch LCD screen along with a 2K resolution, and 1,200×2,000 pixels. In addition, the display TUV Rheinland certified offers a flicker-free screen and low blue light emissions. The Honor Pad 8 gets powered octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC that is coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal memory.
The tablet will be fuelled with a 7,250mAh battery along with 22.5W fast charging. In addition, the tablet comes with including four trebles, a total of eight speakers, four bass units, and a built-in microphone. On the optics front, the device features a 5MP camera on both sides.
Moreover, the tablet supports dual-band Wi-Fi, 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and Bluetooth v5.1. It runs Android-based Magic UI 6.1 Additionally, the tablet will have a Smart Multi-Window function, which will enable users to multitask on four windows.
Also, the tablet weighs 520g and spans 174.06 x 278.54 x 6.9mm. That’s all we have right now, but we expect more information about the upcoming Honor tablet in India.
