Hyundai Creta EV With Improved Dynamics Spied During Testing

Hyundai Creta is the one of the immensely popular mid-size SUVs in India. And the company is now bringing an all-electric variant of the Creta looking at its high popularity amongst the consumers. The new Creta EV has been spied again ahead of its launch that is due for 2025. This time the Creta EV is snapped with improved ergonomics indicating a facelift model also in tow.

Hyundai Creta EV Snapped With Better Dynamics

Hyundai Creta Ev’s newest test mule has been snapped getting tested on the streets of Hyderabad. While the test mule of the EV is seen heavily wrapped, the curves and silhouettes have been observed. The overll profile seem to be updated with the improvements likely providing an improved dynamics.

The snapshots of the Creta EV have captured the aero-cut alloy wheels which will help with reduced air drag ultimately helping with improved range. The LED DRL cutouts have been snapped too. The charging port mounted at the centre of the front panel corroborates with the previously leaked spy images.

Another clarification that comes from the new test mule images is the front axle mounted motor setup. The rear and side profile of the Creta EV is similar to what we have seen in the past. Cabin design and features of the Creta EV will be identical to the ICE model which means we will might see ventilated front seats, dual screen setup for infotainment and MID, and 4-dot steering wheel. Previous spy shots have also hinted at the ADAS tech for security which we believe will be clubbed with a 360-camera system.

Hyundai Creta EV Powertrain Details

Unfortunately, the powertrain driving the Creta EV is not revealed yet. However, it is expected that Hyundai will use a battery ranging between 55- 60 kWh in the top-end models and up to 45 kWh battery in the base model. The mid-size e-SUV might come with up to 500 km range delivery and is also expected to feature a V2L facility.
