India has witnessed a rampant growth in the 5G mobile sector and the opportunity has been ceased by most of the smartphone OEMs. You can easily buy a new 5G smartphone starting under Rs. 15,000 price bracket in the country. But now, iTel is set to bring its first ever 5G smartphone that will retail under Rs. 10,000 in India. A new report has revealed the upcoming affordable iTel 5G phone’s moniker and other details. Read on below:

First iTel 5G Phone Launching Soon Under Rs. 10,000

The first 5G Android smartphone from iTel will be called P55 5G. The brand is aiming to launch the cheapest yet 5G smartphone in the Indian market and is said to keep its pricing below Rs. 10,000 in the country. The iTel P55 5G will be launched in the country by the end of this moth, i.e., September 2023.

However, the exact launch date is yet to be announced in the Indian market for the iTel P55 5G. With the launch of this new 5G smartphone, iTel will be creating its niche in the affordable 5G Android space. Currently, brands like Poco, Realme, Xiaomi, and others are dominating the mid-range 5G segment but none of the OEMs have yet ventured in the sub Rs. 10,000 category.

iTel P55 5G Phone Key Features

iTel has shared a teaser poster image of the P55 5G budget Android phone. Only a glimpse of the back panel is revealed by the poster image. The schematics reveal curved edge design which will make this handset look premium despite being an entry-level 5G phone.

The image also shows a large squarish camera island with 5G labeling and dual camera rings housing two sensors and one LED flash. We have not received any information related to the camera or other key hardware features which the iTel P55 5G will be packed with. But we are likely to get some details ahead of the official India launch.
