A Futuristic Setting
Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD is set in a future world where technology and AI dominate daily life. The film features a star-studded cast including Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. At the heart of this futuristic world is Bujji, an AI-driven car that represents the pinnacle of automotive design and innovation. CEAT Specialty accepted the challenge of creating tyres as advanced and visionary as Bujji.
Innovative Design And Development
Designed by Hollywood’s Haisu Wang, known for his work on Black Panther, Bujji required tyres that could bring Wang’s futuristic vision to life. The development process was a journey of intense creativity and meticulous engineering. Designers, engineers, and material scientists collaborated in dynamic brainstorming sessions to conceptualize potential designs, inspired by Bujji’s advanced look and capabilities. These sessions produced visionary sketches, digital models, and pattern prototypes that vividly brought their ideas to life.
Unique Block Design
The tyres feature a unique block design with intricate grooves inspired by AI algorithms, enhancing both performance and appearance. The circular support base of the block design ensures superior traction and stability, complementing Bujji’s advanced capabilities and sporty appearance.
Engineering Excellence
Engineering excellence was a core focus of this project. The tyres have a wider design and a unique aspect ratio of 30, ensuring excellent performance and torque. With an impressive load-bearing capacity of up to 4 tonnes, these tyres are highly durable and capable of supporting Bujji’s robust structure. The wider design and larger rims enhance Bujji’s appearance while minimizing side sway, providing a smoother and more stable ride. Thorough testing confirmed the tyres’ design, enhancing cornering, steering, and braking for peak performance in vehicles like Bujji.
