Kinetic Green is finally reviving its legendary two-wheeler moped Luna in an all-electric avatar. The arrival of the Luna e-moped has been in the air for the past few months but the timeline is confirmed now. The upcoming e-moped from Kinetic Green will be officially launched next month and its pre-bookings start this week itself in India. Here are the expected highlights of the Luna e-moped and its expected pricing:

Kinetic E-Luna Moped: When Is It Launching In India?

The Kinetic Luna e-moped is launching soon in India. The brand will be taking the wraps of the country’s first electric moped in February 2024. Kinetic is expected to reveal the exact date shortly as it will soon commence the pre-bookings too.

Kinetic E-Luna Moped: Pre-Booking Details, Expected Pricing

Kinetic Green has confirmed that the pre-bookings for e-Luna moped will begin on Republic Day this year. This means, starting tomorrow (26 Jan, 2024), interested customers can pre-register the electric moped. The company will be taking a small token amount of Rs. 500 for the pre-bookings.

Furthermore, the registration process can be completed on the company’s official India website. Prices for the e-Luna moped is unknown currently. However, we are expecting it to be priced in the affordable range (less than 1.50 lakh). Exact details will be confirmed once brand makes the related announcements.

As per the leaks, Kinetic e-Luna moped will be introduced in three different variants. The battery pack tipped for the upcoming electric moped is 2 kWh. It is being suggested that a 1.5 kWh battery pack variant will also be introduced in the later stages targeting the Tier 2 and Tier 3 consumers.

The standard 2 kWh model is expected to offer around 80 km range on a full charge. Whereas, the other variant is said to deliver up to 45 km range with a single charge. The e-Luna moped is said to achieve up to 60 kmph top speed.
