The renowned Kinetic Luna nameplate is returning, and this time it will be on an electric scooter. CEO Sulajja Firodia Motwani of Kinetic Green has stated that the Luna brand, which was formerly synonymous with mopeds in India, will make a comeback as a 50cc category electric scooter under the brand name ‘e Luna’. As was previously reported, Kinetic Green, the parent firm, has already begun producing the chassis and sub-assemblies as the business prepares to launch soon.

Kinetic Luna ‘e Luna’ Electric Scooter: Expected Specifications
The Kinetic Green e-Luna could reach a top speed of between 45 and 50 kmph and is unlikely to be a low-speed e-moped. To serve its intended purpose, it could have a hub motor and a torquey one at that. Although fast charging might not be an option, the Kinetic e-Luna could have a 100km range, and having interchangeable batteries would be beneficial for B2B applications.
The Luna’s pedals added to its iconic status, and we hope the e-Luna maintains this. Even though pedaling may not be the most convenient way to get where you’re going, it would spare you the trouble of pushing the e-moped if your battery runs out.

Kinetic Luna ‘e Luna’: Expected Price
This two-wheeler can be marketed as a last-mile connectivity vehicle because it is anticipated to be priced at the lower end of the EV price range. If the e-Luna is reasonably priced, has a respectable riding range, and has a quick charging time, it might also attract a lot of clients from app delivery agents.
