Mahindra is building both XEV 9e and the VE 6e electric SUV models on the new INGLO platform. This same platform will be driving the next-gen Mahindra born electric SUVs including both XEV and BE series variants. The company has revealed that the new EV platform is designed to be compatible with both RWD (Rear Wheel Drive) and AWD (All Wheel Drive) drivetrain options.
This platform will be capable of producing a varied power range between 17 kW to 210 kW. This output will depend on the type of the vehicle it will be mounted on. Mahindra has used the high-strength boron steel structure which will be offering enhanced safety to the platform. The overall structure of the INGLO platform’s floor is flat which gets the battery pack integrated inside.
As per the fresh details, the INGLO platform will be supporting both smaller and larger battery packs. It can accommodate battery sizes ranging from 59 kWh to 79 kWh. It further will support fast charging where the battery packs will take around 20 minutes to get a refuel of 0-80 percent using 175 kW charger.
