Mahindra XUV 400 Electric New Models Likely Coming Soon

Mahindra XUV400 electric is getting refreshed soon. Reports are pouring in online hinting multiple new models in tow for the XUV400 electric SUV. Mahindra is currently selling up three variants of the mid-size e-SUV. However, the brand is now rumored to expand the XUV400 range with approx. eight new models.

New Mahindra XUV400 Models In Works

Mahindra XUV400 is reportedly getting refreshed soon. The company is launching multiple new models of the mid-size electric SUV. To recap, the company is selling three variants of the XUV400 in the country which are called EC Pro, EL Pro where the latter is available with dual battery pack options.

As per the rumor mill, eight new variants of the XUV 400 are heading to the Indian market. Monikers will also be rebadged. The upcoming Mahindra XUV 400 electric models are as follows:

  • EC L
  • EC L (O)
  • EC LL
  • EL LL (O)
  • EL LH
  • EL LH (O)
  • EL PH
  • EL PH (O)

Currently, it is not revealed if all these variant will get cosmetics or powertrain and feature upgrades too. Available information indicates multiple battery pack options out of which one battery pack option is being added. The upcoming XUV 400 EV’s battery options will include a smaller 34.43 kWh model, a 39.4 kWh variant, and another 39.4 kWh battery model which will feature different cells.

Expected Range Delivery

Speaking of the range delivery, the XUV 400 with 34.3 kWh battery model will offer 402 km range as the existing model. The existing 39.4 kWh battery variant of the XUV 400 will deliver up to 456 km range and the 39.4 new cell variant will deliver up to 444 km range on a full charge.

Availability Timeline

Since there is no word from Mahindra officially, we can’t confirm how soon these new models will be added to the XUV 400 lineup. But we can expect the new XUV 400 EV models to come with the same asking price of Rs. 15.49 lakh as the current lineup.
