Mahindra is running series of tests on its upcoming electric four wheeler range. Just recently, spy shots of the XUV.e9 has started doing rounds over the web. Snapped during performance test runs, the upcoming electric SUV’s production-ready model is seen flaunting a coupe styling under heavy camouflage. When do we expect the XUV.e9 to launch in India and what all details have been revealed till now? Find out below:

Mahindra XUV.e9 Production-Ready Variant Spied Testing

The Mahindra XUV.e9’s production-ready model snapped during endurance test runs appears identical to the concept showcased earlier. The fascia, side profile, and rear have been snapped where the coupe-style statement is evident. The XUV.e9’s test mule wears a closed-off front grille and has vertically aligned triangular headlamp design giving it a distinct appeal.

The Mahindra XUV.e9 also gets a connected LED tail lamp design which has been in trend for a while in the premium and mid-tier segment. The edgy and curvy rear profile seems futuristic and boasts an EV-specific profile. The current leak details only the exterior design of the XUV.e9. But we do have some information on the internals courtesy past leaks and rumors.

Mahindra will be making XUV.e9 a feature rich electric coupe SUV offering a triple-screen layout (12.3-inch) infotainment and instrument cluster module. The cabin will be equipped with a two-spoke steering wheel with a flat bottom. The electric SUV is said to come with connected tech cabin and offer several security features including ADAS Level 2 and possible 360-degree camera surveillance.

Mahindra XUV.e9 Electric SUV Performance Delivery

The Mahindra XUV.e9 electric SUV could be an electric variant of the XUV 700 which will come with vehicle-2-load (V2L) technology. It is likely to share the same powertrain as the XUV.e8 and could be launched with both single and dual electric motor setup producing up to 350 hp of peak power. The XUV.e9 might feature an 80kWh battery and offer around 450 km range per charge as per WLTP cycle.
