MG Windsor EV Pre-Bookings Opening Soon: Test Drives Begin In India

JSW MG Motor India added its third EV model to the collection, Windsor EV creating a whole new segment of Intelligent CUVs (Crossover Utility Vehicles). During the launch, MG Motor India revealed the Windsor EV’s introductory prices along with battery rental plans, later on announcing its ex showroom prices without battery rental. And now, the test drives are also being offered across dealerships. But when are the bookings and deliveries commencing? Find out the details below:

MG Windsor EV Test Drives Started: When Does Pre-Bookings Begin?

MG Motor India has started sending Windsor EV’s test drive units across dealerships. Interested buyers can visit their nearby MG dealerships to take a test ride of the Windsor EV. The pre-bookings are reportedly becoming active soon. As per the previous reports, the bookings start on October 3 in the country.

To recap, the Windsor EV arrived with a starting price of Rs. 9.99 lakh combined with the battery rental plan of Rs. 3.5 per km. There are three different variants including Excite, Exclusive, and Essence with the base model carrying a starting price of Rs. 13,49,800 and the top variant bring priced at Rs. 15,49,800.

MG Windsor EV Battery, Range, Features

MG Windsor EV is the country’s first intelligent crossover utility vehicle featuring an Aeroglide design, a larger fixed glass sunroof, a 15.6-inch Grandview touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, and an 8-inch digital driver display. It’s 135° reclining seats is segment-first feature making the cabin more premium. A 38 kWh LFP battery pack drives the Windsor EV and churns out up to 331 km range of full charge. The FWD motor pack on the Windsor EV produces up to 136 PS of peak power 200 Nm of torque.
