A new Motorola Edge series phone is ready to hit the shelves in the global market. The upcoming model is rumored to be the Edge 30 Pro which could be a rebadged version of the Motorola Edge X30 launched recently in China. The Moto Edge 30 Pro’s renders were leaked recently. Now, the official launch timeline has been tipped for India and the remaining international markets.
Motorola Edge 30 Pro India Launch Soon
The Motorola Edge 30 Pro will be making its debut in February 2022 in India and other international markets, cites a fresh report via 91Mobiles. The publication learned this information from noted tipster Mukul Sharma. However, the report doesn’t confirm the exact launch date for the Edge 30 Pro in India and the remaining global markets. Since the launch is tipped for this month itself, there are higher possibilities for Motorola to release some official teasers announcing the upcoming launch.
Just to recap, the Edge 30 Pro’s renders were leaked recently showing a punch-hole display design and a slightly different rear panel design compared to the Moto Edge X30. The specifications are said to be identical on both models. The Moto Edge 30 Pro will also be a flagship-grade phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Other features such as display, camera, and the battery will also be the same as the Chinese counterpart.
That said, the Moto Edge 30 Pro is also likely to ship with the same OLED display panel as the Edge X30 that’ll measure 6.7-inches and will support 1080P FHD+ resolution. The panel will come with HDR10+ certification and a 144Hz refresh rate. The flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen processor powering the Edge 30 Pro will be combined with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage option.
The Moto Edge X30 Pro’s imaging setup is also expected to feature a 50MP main camera at the rear combined with a 5MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP lens. The selfie snapper would be a 60MP lens. It will offer an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. This is one of the primary differences it’ll offer compared to its Chinese counterpart. The Moto Edge 30 Pro might come with a 5,000 mAh battery combined with 68W fast charging support.
