OnePlus 10 Pro Finally Debuts With Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, Hasselblad Cameras; How Much Does It Cost?

We have seen a couple of new Android smartphones breaking covers recently with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The OnePlus 10 Pro is the latest handset to join this race. As expected, the newest flagship OnePlus smartphone has been launched in China. Besides Qualcomm’s latest-gen premium chipset, the OnePlus 10 Pro is equipped with Hasselblad cameras and a 120Hz  LTPO 2.0 display.

OnePlus 10 Pro Complete Hardware

The OnePlus 10 Pro has been launched with some top-notch hardware most of which were already confirmed via leaks and official teasers. The 6.67-inch OLED display is amongst those features. It is an LTPO 2.0 panel that+ is equipped with a QHD+ screen resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The panel sports an in-display camera cutout (punch-hole design) to store the 32MP selfie snapper with an f/2.0 aperture.

The OnePlus 10 Pro’s chipset details have been floating over the web for a long now. It makes use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor to perform all the given tasks at hand. The device has been launched with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It doesn’t come with an external microSD card storage support. The firmware pre-installed is Android 12 OS layered with Oppo’s ColorOS 12 interface.

The OnePlus 10 Pro’s imaging setup at the rear features a 48MP main camera which is combined with a 50MP ultrawide sensor and an 8MP telephoto sensor. The Hasselblad series camera setup is equipped with a pre-installed Master Mode. This additional camera model has three different filters which professional photographers and other content creators can utilize to enhance the image quality.

Similar to the most new-generation flagship Android devices, the OnePlus 10 Pro’s security aspect is also handled by an in-display fingerprint scanner. The battery capacity offered is 5,000 mAh which is by far the largest for any OnePlus’s flagship. The battery comes with 80W wired fast charging support and 50W fast wireless charging technology.

OnePlus 10 Pro Official Price, Sale Details

The OnePlus 10 Pro has been made available in three different configurations. The price of the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is set at RMB 4,699 which is somewhere around Rs. 54,000, while the 8GB RAM+ 256GB storage variant is announced at RMB 4,999 which is approximately Rs. 57,900. The top-most variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model has been announced with RMB 5,299 price tag (approx. Rs. 61,000).

The OnePlus 10 Pro’s availability is currently set for the Chinese market. The global launch should be confirmed soon.
