OnePlus 9RT India Model Stops By Geekbench Ahead Of January 14 Launch

OnePlus is done with the OnePlus 10 Pro’s launch in China and is now prepping up to bring this device to India and other markets. Besides the flagship handset, the company is also gearing up to bring the OnePlus 9RT into the Indian market. The company itself confirmed the upcoming OnePlus 9RT’s India launch alongside the OnePlus Buds Z2 on January 14. With just a few days remaining for its official launch, the device has now paid a visit a launch at the benchmarking website Geekbench.

OnePlus 9RT India Variant Visits Geekbench

The OnePlus 9RT Indian model has been spotted at Geekbench with the OnePlus MT2111 model number. Only the benchmark scores and the processor details have been leaked by the website. As per the listing, the device runs on an octa-core processor with a 1.80GHz clock speed. The motherboard listed is lahaina which is none other than the Snapdragon 888 5G processor. The global variant is also powered by the same chipset.

The Geekbench listing also mentions a 12GB RAM configuration. While the benchmark website doesn’t reveal the storage variants, we can expect up to 256GB onboard storage as the Chinese model. As for the benchmark scores, the OnePlus 9RT’s Indian variant has logged 888 points in the single-core test and 3319 points in the multi-core tests.

Since the device has also made it to the international markets, the features are known. Speaking of which, the OnePlus 9RT in India will also sport a 6.62-inch E4 OLED display. The panel specifications will include 1300 nits peak brightness, FHD+ screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR 10+ certification.

Other expected OnePlus 9RT specifications in India include a triple-rear camera system featuring a 50MP Sony IMX766 main lens. The main camera comes with both OIS and EIS and is paired up with a 16MP wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor.

The unit will be launched with Android 11 OS wrapped around the Oxygen OS interface. The battery powering this handset is a 4,500 mAh unit combined with 65W fast charging. If we speak of the expected pricing, this unit might retail starting below Rs. 40,000. However, exact prices would be confirmed following the official launch in India on January 14.
