OnePlus 9RT With Snapdragon 888 Plus Chipset, 120HZ AMOLED Display Announced In India; Price, First Sale Details

After all the anticipations, the OnePlus has finally introduced the OnePlus 9RT in India alongside the OnePlus Buds Z2 TWS earbuds. The latest flagship offering by the company brings the same set of internals as the global model launched last year. It is packed with some top-of-the-line hardware including the Snapdragon 888 Plus processor and a 50MP triple rear camera setup priced starting at Rs. 42,990 in the country.

OnePlus 9RT Full Specifications

The OnePlus 9RT as we all are aware is a premium range phone which is powered by the Snapdragon 888 Plus octa-core processor. The chipset combined up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage configuration. The device is pre-installed with Android 11 OS topped with Oxygen OS interface.

The OnePlus 9RT’s display is a Samsung E4 AMOLED panel that measures 6.62-inches. The panel comes with 1080 x 2400 pixels FHD+ screen resolution and supports 1300 nits peak brightness. The panel further supports HDR10+ support along with DCI: P3 color gamut coverage and sRGB. The refresh rate offered by the panel is 120Hz.

In terms of optics, the OnePlus 9RT employs a 50MP main camera which is Sony IMX766 primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). The main camera is combined with a 16MP ultra-wide-angle sensor that has 123-degree FoV and an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP sensor for macro shots that has an f/2.4 aperture. The flagship OnePlus 9RT sports a 16MP camera for selfies. This is a Sony IMX741 sensor that comes with an f/2.4 aperture.

The OnePlus 9RT uses an optical in-display fingerprint scanner for security. It offers 5G, 4G LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity. The device uses a 4,000 mAh battery to keep the processor ticking. The fast charging speed supported is 65W.

OnePlus 9RT India Price, Availability Details

The OnePlus 9RT will be available in India at an asking price of Rs. 42,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option. The high-end model which comes with a 12GB RAM and 256GB storage option can be purchased at Rs. 46,999 in the country. Its first sale is slated for January 17 in the country via Amazon during the Great Indian Republic Day Sale. The color options available would be Nano Silver and Hacker Blue.
