Oppo Find X5 Certification Suggests Rebadged Reno7 5G

(Last Updated On: January 16, 2022)

Oppo has been adding new models consistently to its affordable “A” smartphone lineup right from the beginning of this year. But the next from the company’s lot is expected to be the flagship Find X series. The company is said to take wraps off the Find X5 series in the coming months (likely March 2022). As many as three models are said to be announced in the upcoming premium series namely the Find X5 Lite, Find X5, and the Find X5 Pro. The Find X5 Lite has been spotted at a certification website where the listing points at a rebadged model. Which Oppo handset is getting rebranded and being launched as the Find X5 Lite? Following are what the rumors suggest:

Oppo Find X5 Lite Might Debut As Rebadged Reno Series Model

The Oppo Find X5 Lite’s listing has spotted at an EU certification website by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore. A tweet has been shared by leakster that suggests this model will be launching as the rebranded Reno7 5G. It is said to launch in the European markets with the new labeling (Oppo Find X5 Lite).

The screenshot shared by the tipster shows the Oppo CPH2371 model number for the upcoming device. Only the model number has been shared by the certification website. The features and design including the similarities as well as the differences are not updated at the website. But considering the Find X5 Lite is being rebadged vanilla Reno7 5G, the design and features should be identical on both models.

Since we are speaking of the specifications, the Find X5 Lite might also be driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor. The octa-core chipset is gaming-oriented and it would probably be combined with up to 12GB RAM option and 256GB native storage capacity. The device might have an Android 11-based ColorOS 12 interface on top.

The Oppo Find X5 Lite is also likely to sport a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel will have a punch-hole cutout housing a 32MP selfie snapper. The affordable Find X5 series model might flaunt a 64MP main camera at the back combined with an 8MP ultrawide angle sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. We might also see a 4,500 mAh battery along with 60W fast charging support.
