Oppo Pad With 120Hz QHD+ Display, SD 870 Chipset Launched; All You Need To Know

Oppo has a brand that has a successful run in the smartphone industry. But that isn’t stopping the Chinese tech giant from foraying into the remaining consumer electronics and goods space. The company has now ventured in the tablet space with the Oppo Pad which has been announced alongside the Find X5 Lite flagship phone. Here’s what all the first Oppo tablet brings to the table:

The Oppo Pad is designed similar to the Realme Pad with a slim 7mm profile and a massive 11-inch display. The tablet uses an IPS LCD panel that supports a QHD+ screen resolution of 1699 x 2560 pixels and 120Hz refresh rate making it optimum for high-resolution media consumption and gaming. The display panel also supports HDR10+ certification and has 10-bit color support.

The Oppo Pad features an AG Matte design at the back and a single camera on the top left. The tablet offers a 13MP main camera at the back. As for the selfie snapper, Oppo has tucked in an 8MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. You will get a decent video conferencing and calling experience on the new Oppo tablet.

Under its hood, the Oppo Pad tablet utilizes the Snapdragon 870 processor. This premium range Qualcomm chipset supports 5G connectivity and has octa-cores. It supports Adreno 650 GPU to deliver-high end graphics. The Oppo Pad has been announced with a single 8GB RAM option.

The onboard storage capacity is up to 256GB. Unfortunately, the tablet comes sans external microSD card support for additional storage. Oppo has designed a custom ColorOS for its first tablet. The Oppo Pad also comes with a stylus pen for creative tasks. It offers Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity options. Powering Oppo’s first tablet is a humongous 8,360mAh battery that gets 33W quick charging technology support.

Oppo Pad Tablet Price

The Oppo Pad has been announced in China starting at 2,299 Yuan for the 6GB RAM and 128GB variant and 2,699 Yuan for the 8GB+ 128GB RAM model. If you translate these to Indian currency they are approx. Rs. 26,400 and Rs. 32,000 respectively. The top model of the latest Oppo tablet has 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration which is announced at 2,999 Yuan which is somewhere around Rs. 35,000.
