Design: Striking Elegance
The OPPO Reno 10 5G’s first glimpse established it as a premium-looking smartphone. Along with a visually captivating design, it has glossy chrome side rails blending seamlessly with the back panel and curved-edge display. The matte-finished back panel shows an attractive color shift when viewed from different angles. The phone is offered in two color options, Ice Blue and Silvery Grey. We got the Ice Blue variant for the review. We loved the smartphone’s shade.
A punch-hole selfie camera is located at the top of the screen. The camera module slightly protrudes, leading to a slight wobble on flat surfaces. In the upper half of the module, there is a large sensor, and at the bottom, there are two smaller ones. However, the protrusion can be taken care of using the box’s protective cover. Positioned on the right side are the volume buttons and the power key, while the bottom houses the USB Type-C charging port, microphone, speaker grille, and SIM slot. Additionally, the top of the smartphone features an IR blaster and a dedicated microphone for noise cancellation.
The Oppo Reno 10 Pro 5G is not only stylish but also comfortable. The smartphone feels good in the hand because of its curved form. There were no difficulties using this phone with one hand. The Reno 10 Pro’s lack of an IP Rating for dust and water protection is the only drawback.

Display: A Feast For Eyes
The OPPO Reno 10 5G flaunts a massive 6.7-inch curved-edge AMOLED display with an impressive 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with a maximum brightness of 950 nits which allows you to work in outdoor settings, but issues crop up when sunlight is too bright. That said, the display is smooth and responsive during interactions and delivers vibrant colors, making it a delightful experience for consuming multimedia content.
While using the phone, we played games, watched videos, and performed other things. We also discovered that the display’s colors are good. With the curved display edges and thin bezels on all four sides, viewing content is even more immersive. My experience was never hindered by the top-mounted selfie camera with a punch-hole. The in-display fingerprint sensor adds an extra layer of convenience for secure unlocking and is swift and accurate each time you unlock the handset.
Processor: Powerful Performance
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, the OPPO Reno 10 5G ensures robust everyday tasks and multitasking performance. This new SoC is created using a node technique with a 6 nm fabrication. It can easily perform routine duties like web browsing, social networking app scrolling, and gaming. With this reliable chipset, the smartphone also has 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. It enables you to keep a large number of apps, pictures, and movies without running out of storage. Additionally, it comes with support for additional storage through the SD card expansion slot. By enabling Oppo’s RAM expansion mode, the phone can also convert up to 8GB of unused ROM storage into temporary RAM to boost the phone’s performance.
On this device, we played games for 30 minutes without experiencing any frame dips or lags. However, if you are an extensive gamer, who likes to play long gaming sessions then you might experience slight frame drops. All-in-all, the gaming experience was decent. Running on Oppo’s ColorOS 13.1, which is based on Android 13, the user interface is intuitive and user-friendly.
We didn’t need the numerous pre-installed apps that came with the smartphone. Although having this much bloatware at the price point of Rs. 32,999 is disheartening, the good news is that it can be deleted if not required.
Camera: A Trio Of Photographic Excellence
The OPPO Reno 10 5G impresses with its triple-camera setup on the back. It includes a 64MP Ultra-Clear primary camera, a 32MP telephoto portrait camera equipped with the Sony IMX709 sensor, and a 110-degree 8MP ultra-wide camera. Also, it features a 32MP ultra-clear selfie camera. This camera system delivers sharp and detailed images, making it a great choice for photography enthusiasts.
The 64MP Ultra-Clear primary camera clicks beautiful images. Every single detail is easily visible, even in low-light photographs. The pictures are sharp and have accurate colors. The dynamic range is decent, too, as you can see if you look closely at the photographs. In the photos that were taken, the diverse green colors of the various plants are also clearly distinguishable. The pictures taken outside had nice colors and textures, but at times they seemed excessively sharp. The primary camera is adequate for the device’s pricing range.

This telephoto portrait sensor can be used to take 2x zoom portrait photos that have good quality. This sensor captures subjects clearly with a blurred background even at a 2x zoom. The subject was not at all affected by the blur, contrary to what I had anticipated. The photos turned out nicely.
Even in low-light images, every little detail is visible. The images have accurate colors and sharpness as well. If you look at the images closely, the dynamic range is decent as well. The various shades of green of different plants are also easily distinguishable with the captured shots. The images clicked outdoors had good colors and texture, but seemed overly sharp sometimes.
The ultrawide angle shots are good as well. Although these images have decent quality, when you zoom in, you will notice distortion around the edges. This 32MP telephoto camera is undoubtedly a welcome improvement over the useless 2MP macro lens found on most smartphones in this category.
As for the selfie lens, there is a 32MP ultra-clear camera at the front. Additionally, autofocus ensures that the topic is in focus while recording a video. Oppo Reno also supports ultra-high-resolution video at up to 4K on the main camera, bringing great clarity and details.

Battery: Long-lasting Powerhouse
Equipped with a capacious 5,000mAh battery, the OPPO Reno 10 5G offers impressive battery life, ensuring the phone lasts through an entire day of heavy use. Moreover, the 67W SuperVOOC fast charging support guarantees quick replenishment when needed.
The smartphone readily lasted for a whole day after being fully charged, indicating a decent battery backup. 15 percent of the battery was still in the device at night. It only takes 30 minutes to charge the adapter from 0 percent to 100 percent, so if you use it frequently, keep the adaptor with you.
