Oppo is just a month away from the launch of its Reno 8 series in India. The expected Reno 8 series launch is by end of June 2022 in the country. The company’s upcoming lineup will include three models: the Reno 8 Lite, Reno 8, and the Reno 8 Pro. Ahead of the official launch, design renders of the all three models have already been leaked. A new leak from a tipster Digital Chat Station reveals more details of the Oppo Reno 8 series on Weibo. Let’s check out all the leaked details here:
Oppo Reno 8 Pro: Expected Specifications
The leakster claims that the Reno 8 Pro will have the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 MAX SoC, coupled with the company’s in-house MariSilicon X NPU. He also added that the device will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display from BOE with an FHD+ resolution. It will also have a centrally-aligned punch-hole cutout for the 32MP Sony IMX709 selfie shooter.
Coming to the cameras, the rear of the Oppo Reno 8 Pro will feature triple sensors. There will be a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP tertiary sensor. The smartphone will boast a 4,500mAh battery that will support 80W fast charging.
Oppo Reno 8 Lite: Expected Specifications
The Oppo Reno 8 Lite will have a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The screen will support a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch hole cutout at the top left corner for the front camera.
The device will look a lot similar to the Reno 7Z that was launched earlier in Europe. The smartphone will sport a flat display with a thick chin. It will also include a triple-camera arrangement on the back. However, we are yet to get the details related to the cameras. The smartphone will boast a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging capabilities. It is expected to be available in Black and Rainbow Silver colors.
Oppo Reno 8: Expected Specifications
The vanilla Reno 8 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. This Reno 8 series phone will have a 6.55-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen will have 1080p FHD+ screen resolution. On the rear, there will be a triple-camera system. A 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera sensor is rumored handle the optics. There will be a 4,500mAh battery unit.
