These days, all over the world, every mobile phone company keeps launching the latest technology phones that support the 5G mobile network. Every company works hard to be in the race of the mobile market; however, a company offering a budget phone actively steals the customers.
This is what Realme applied by releasing the 5G supported device with an economical price range in the Indian mobile market. The interesting thing is that it is the first mobile of Realme supported by 700 MediaTek Dimensity processors that launched in India. Moreover, Realme 8 5G device is now the most affordable 5G mobile in India by outracing the Pro version of Realme Narzo 30.
Realme 8 5G built by linking Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro. As all of the three device names suggest, they might all have similar features and functionalities. Nevertheless, it is not the case here as Realme 8 5G has lots of different features and functionalities. Let’s talk about these functionalities and specifications.
Specification of Realme 8 5G
First and foremost, Realme 8 5G device contains the 700 MediaTek Dimensity chipset processor by making its first look in India. Dimensity 700 stands at the third position after Dimensity 100+ and Dimensity 800U that already debuted their journey with Realme phones.
This 700 MediaTek Dimensity processor is an Octa-core processor built on a 7-nanometer chip with two Cortex A76 that is clocked at 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 that clocked at 2 GHz. All the graphics activities and gaming control are handled by Mali G57 GPU that runs at 950 MHz. This MediaTek chipset processor is efficient because it supports 5G mobile networks.
The best part that I personally loved the most is that it has the RAM expansion feature. This feature uses the remaining or available memory storage (ROM) in RAM whenever RAM gets full. This feature is called Dynamic RAM Expansion in terms of mobile technology. When they test this feature in the lab then the generated report said that the model with 4GB RAM becomes equivalent to 5GB RAM and the 8GB RAM becomes equivalent to 8GB RAM. Isn’t it great!
As far as display specification is concerned, it has a Full High Definition Plus display as long as 6.5 inches with a top-notch 90 Hz refresh rate and touch sampling rate of 180 Hz which is the equal number provided by OnePlus for their latest model. Instead of using the AMOLED screen panel used in Realme 8 4G, Realme 8 5G used the LCD screen panel.
The model Realme 8 supported 5G came in two variants. The first one is 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 128GB of memory storage. Another variant with 8GB RAM and UFS 2.1 128GB storage capacity is currently available in the market.
Apart from this above feature, it has a Samsung GM1 48MP primary camera and portrait Black and White 2MP lens, and macro shooter of 2MP. The camera contains features like Super Text, Slow motion, Nightscape, AI scan, and many more. Moreover, it has a 16MP selfie camera.
In terms of battery capacity, it has a giant 5000 mAh battery that later charges with an 18W charger. Device flow on Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) which is only 8.5 mm thick and has 185g weight.
