Xiaomi India organised an online event today and launched not just one but two new products in the Indian market. The company launched the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S which expands the Redmi Note 10 line-up in the country along with the new Redmi Watch. Xiaomi’s new Redmi Watch has been launched in India today and its price starts at just Rs. 3,999. Let’s check out what all we get in India’s first Redmi watch.
Redmi Watch – Key Specifications
Xiaomi’s new Redmi watch gets a host of features. Before we begin with the specs, we would also like to highlight that this is Xiaomi’s second smartwatch in India, the first one being the Mi Watch Resolve. But, this is the first smartwatch from the company in India under its Redmi brand. The new Redmi watch gets a 1.4-inch IPS LCD colour display that offers a maximum screen resolution of 320×320 pixels. The screen of the smartwatch offers a peak brightness of 350 nits and it is 5 ATM water-resistant, i.e. up to 30 metres. The new Redmi Watch is compatible with both Android 5.0 and iOS 10.1 running and above versions.

Redmi Watch – Features
The new Redmi watch gets a 230mAh battery. The company claims that the smartwatch can be fully charged in under 2 hours and it can run up to 12 days on a single charge. The smartwatch gets a 2.5D curved glass on the top and a single button on the right side. It offers over 200 watch faces and gets Bluetooth v5.1 for connectivity. It is equipped with GPS and GLONASS for precise tracking and features eleven sports modes. Some onboard sensors include a six-axis sensor, geomagnetic sensor, 24-hour real-time heart rate sensor, ambient light sensor, steps walked, calories burned, activity records and much more. The smartwatch weighs just 35 grams with the strap and 31 grams without the strap.

Redmi Watch – Price in India, Availability and Rivals
The price of the new Redmi watch starts in India at Rs. 3,999. It will go on sale from May 25, 2021, via Flipkart’s website, Mi.com and will be available at Mi Home stores too. The new Redmi watch will be available in three colour options – Black, Blue, and Ivory for the watch case and the strap can be had in four colours, namely Black, Blue, Ivory, and Olive.
