Reliance Jio Vs Airtel Vs BSNL Vs Vi: Which Telecom Operator Offers Best Pack Under Rs. 499?

(Last Updated On: February 21, 2022)

Reliance Jio, Airtel, Vi, and BSNL are very active in terms of making changes in their prepaid plans to attract customers to their services. However, this is confusing to customers as all telcos provide similar plans and benefits. Besides, private telecom operators increased the prices of all prepaid plans. This is why we are listing the benefits of all plans that come under Rs. 499.

BSNL Prepaid Plan Under Rs. 499

Let’s start with the BSNL Rs. 499 plan, where users are getting 2GB of data per day, 100 messages per day, BSNL Tune, and Zing Music app access for 90 days. This means all users will be getting 180GB of data for the entire validity.

Vodafone Idea Prepaid Plan Under Rs. 499

India’s third-largest telecom operator Vodafone-Idea offers 1.5GB of data, unlimited calling, 100 messages for 56 days. This pack also ships binge all-night data, weekend data rollover, Vi movies and TV access, and free data surfing between 12 PM to 6 PM.

Reliance Jio Prepaid Plan Under Rs. 499

Reliance Jio offers benefits for 28 days. This pack offers 2GB of data per day, 100 messages per day, unlimited voice calling, and Jio Prime membership for the same period. Once 2GB of data ends the speed will be reduced to 64 Kbps. In addition, users get access to Jio Prime access and Disney+ Hotstar for one year. Also, the pack offers access to Jio TV, Jio Cinema, and more.

Airtel Prepaid Plan Under Rs. 499

Airtel also offers a plan of Rs. 479 offers benefits for 56 days. In addition, the users are getting 1.5GB of data per day, 100 messages per day, and unlimited calling. Apart from these benefits, this pack offers Amazon Prime access for 30 days, Apollo 24|7 Circle Shaw Academy, fee HelloTunes, free access to Wynk Music, FASTag, and Rs. 100 cashback.

Which Prepaid Pack Is Better?

It is worth noting that telecom operators are again planning to raise tariffs in the coming months as they want to increase their revenue and decrease losses. However, we expect that BSNL might not follow private telecom operators as it is planning to bring 4G services and wants to attract new customers to its platform.
