Rolls Royce, the British luxury car manufacturer is all set to start its innings in the EV space in India. The company is gearing up to launch its first ever electric car in the country. Called the Spectre, the upcoming EV is a two-door luxury coupe which already has been unveiled back in 2022. After multiple test mule sightings, the Spectre EV’s India launch was consistently being tipped by the rumor mill. Now, after a long wait, Rolls Royce has confirmed the launch for Spectre EV in India. What is the timeline and the expectations in terms of powertrain and features? Rolls Royce Spectre EV Two-Door Luxury Coupe Official India Launch Date
The Rolls Royce Spectre EV is set to make its debut in India this week itself. The company will be taking the wraps if its new-age luxury EV coupe on January 19, 2024. To recap, Rolls Royce had first showcased the Spectre EV back in October 2022. Since then, there has been no clear information for its availability in the country. We expect the deliveries to commence soon after the official launch.

Rolls Royce Spectre EV Luxury Coupe Expected India Price Range
The Rolls Royce Spectre EV will also be a high-end luxury coupe which is expected to be priced between Rs. 7 lakh to Rs. 9 lakh range. The prices will vary depending on the variants and trims which will be confirmed post the launch.

Rolls Royce Spectre EV Luxury Coupe Design Highlights
Like other existing Rolls Royce cars, the Spectre EV also oozes out luxury with each stance. It is based on the Architecture of Luxury platform which is the company’s in-house all-aluminum platform for luxury cars. The Spectre EV retains the brand’s legendary “Pantheon grille” but it is now wider and is illuminated by around 22 LEDs.
The Rolls Royce Spectre EV is said to offer better aerodynamics than any Rolls Royce car has offered till date. It also flaunts a split headlamp design and has LED tail lamps positioned vertically and wrapped with chrome strips.
The cabin of the Rolls Royce Spectre EV includes a complete digital instrument cluster and illuminated panels on the door panels. It will also include a touch-enabled infotainment system.

For power delivery, the upcoming Rolls Royce Spectre two-door luxury coupe will employ an electric motor on each wheel. This essentially means the Spectre EV will probably offer a 4WD ride. This electric luxury coupe is expected to produce 430 kW of peak power with the all-electric drivetrain and a peak torque of 900 Nm.
Powering the Rolls Royce Spectre EV will be a 102 kWh battery module which is said to deliver around 520 km range per charge. It is expected to accelerate with a speed of 4.4 seconds to reach 0-100 km/h.
