Samsung Galaxy A04s Benchmark Listing Confirms In-House Exynos 850 Chipset, Android 12 OS

(Last Updated On: June 4, 2022)

Samsung Galaxy A series is rumored to get a new entry-level phone soon. The Galaxy A04s is the model that has been paying visits to the rumor mill for the last few months. Back in April this year, we at Giznext also shared an exclusive report that revealed the Galaxy A04s’ 5K renders. Since then, this budget Galaxy A series phone has been leaked multiple times including the recent benchmark website listing on Geekbench. We now know the chipset and benchmark scores of the Galaxy A04s. Check the details below:

Samsung Galaxy A04s Chipset Confirmed Via Geekbench

As per the Geekbench database, the Galaxy A04s bear the SM-A047F model number. This same model number has been tipped a couple of times via other certification portals. The benchmark website mentions the octa-core Exynos 850 chipset under the Galaxy A04s’ hood.

This information corroborates with previous leaks suggesting the same in-house entry-level Exynos processor for the Galaxy A03s successor. Furthermore, the Geekbench database also hints at a 3GB RAM configuration. We will have to wait to be sure if there is any other RAM model in the tow.

The storage options are not listed on the benchmark website. However, the 3GB RAM model will probably ship with a 32GB onboard storage configuration. The handset will also feature an additional microSD card support that could supplement up to 512GB or 1TB of extra storage space.

The Android 12 OS is also confirmed by the benchmark website. Lastly, the benchmark scores; the Galaxy A04s has logged 152 points in the single-core test on Geekbench, while in the multi-core test, it achieved 585 points which is fair for an entry-level Android phone.

Samsung Galaxy A04s: What Else Are We Aware Of?

The Samsung Galaxy A04s will be an entry-level Android mobile whose renders we leaked earlier. It will be equipped with a tall waterdrop notch display that will be wrapped with a narrow side and thick bottom bezel.

The rear panel of the Galaxy A04s has a single-tone finish that isn’t shimmering and packs three cameras aligned vertically on the top-left. Moving on to the leaked hardware, the Galaxy A04s might flaunt a standard LCD display with an HD+ screen resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. The chipset, configuration, and firmware details are mentioned above.

The Galaxy A04s’ camera specifications are under the wraps, but the rumor mill hints at a 5,000 mAh battery with standard 10W charging speeds. As for its availability, Samsung is yet to announce the official launch date. But since this budget Galaxy phone has stopped by Geekbench, it confirms the final testing phase. We will soon hear some developments on the same from the brand itself.
