At the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event, Samsung introduced its premium gadgets for the masses including the Galaxy Tab S9 series. The new Samsung Android tablet series comprises the vanilla Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9 Plus, and the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra variants packed with top-of-the-line hardware features such as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 120Hz display, and dual rear camera module. The vanilla Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 is equipped with an 11-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, while the latter is packed with a 12.4-inch screen. The display on both tablets supports a WQXGA+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Both tablets have an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometrics. The top-end Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra features a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz refresh rate and WQXGA+ resolution.
The vanilla Galaxy Tab S9 is packed with a single 13MP rear camera, while the Galaxy Tab S9+ gets a 13MP+8MP camera module. The selfie snapper is a 12MP lens on both these tablets. The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra also has a dual rear camera setup which comprises a 12MP main and a 12MP ultrawide sensor. For selfies, this variant features a 13MP lens upfront.
All three models including the vanilla Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The RAM and storage option available with all three models is up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Audio delivery on the new Galaxy Tab S9 series is taken care of by AKG-tuned quad-speaker module that further gets Dolby Atmos support.
The new-generation Galaxy Tab S9 series has IP68 certification that protects it from dust and water. The Galaxy Tab S9 lineup also has an S Pen stylus and magnetic keyboard support. Firmware pre-loaded on all three Galaxy Tab S9 tablets is the Android 13-based OneUI 5.1 interface. As for the battery capacity, the vanilla Galaxy Tab S9 features an 8,000 mAh battery pack and the Galaxy Tab S9+ is packed with a 10,090 mAh battery pack. The top-of-the-line Galaxy Tab S9 features a bigger 11,200 mAh battery unit.

The vanilla Galaxy Tab S9 price range starts at $799 (approx. Rs. 65,000), while the Galaxy Tab S9+ price starts at $999 (approx. Rs. 81,000). The high-end Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will be up for grabs starting at $1,199 (approx. Rs. 98,000). The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series is available for pre-registrations and the official sale starts from August 11, 2023.
